The Goal of the Systems

By Bernard

The goal of this book is to define the diferent social and political systems in which the real economy is mixed every day and every where in the world.  The Québec and Canadian context will also be presented.

At the end of this book, the student will be able:

  1. To define and explicit the origin of the capitalist system;
  2. To present the history of the workers mouvment in the world and in our country;
  3. To compare the time worked in our life now and the one of our ancestors and
  4. To describe the organization of the capitalist world today with the multinational and the state capitalism.

In this book, we see the human sciences linked together.  At this very beginning of the learning of the economic science, at the basic level, all the human knowlledge seems to have the same importance.

On the other hand, we need to show what is specific to this science of the economy, and to give back to Ceasar what is Ceasar’s.  When the economist is talking about the federal budget, we may explain in every details the GST for the economic point of view without touching the political or social aspects of this tax:  ths opposition had political perspectives and the unions had their social perspectives.  The economist would study the economic perspectives of these political and social arguments.
